BIKE VANDALS SHOULD BE SHOT!!!

I bought my 08rr in november of 08 while at home on my last r&r. I put a whopping 120 miles on it before i had to return to this God forsaken sand box called Iraq. I stored it at my brother's house under his carport with his 08 gixxer1k, his 03 r1 (which is for sale by the way) and his old yzf600r. It was covered, and was supposed to be safely tucked away between the other bikes. Now here's the irony. I am here, doing what I do, to help make it possible for EVERYONE EVERYWHERE to enjoy the freedoms we enjoy...like the freedom to ride a friggin motorcycle. Some a$$holes decided they were not in agreement with my being here, so they busted up my bike!!!! They pushed the 600r over, and got to my bike, destroying the right side mid-fairing and possibly the exhaust, and God only knows what else. I go on r&r again next month (May) and will see what else has been done. But the irony I spoke of is: now, when I go home in May, I cant do what I have been here fighting to protect the right to do, because someone who doesnt agree with the war used those very rights to take mine away.:shoot: A$$HOLES!!! Now I wont be able to enjoy that freedom I helped to preserve because I cant afford to replace what they have destroyed. Not by May anyway. It will take months to save up the extra to buy a new fairing and exhaust.:cussing:

And Uncle Sam thanks you every 1st and 15th.
True...but that particular uncle likes to pay with "perks" more than cash. I dont think too many vendors are going to honor "free acu's" "housing allowances" "free college tuition" or any other such things. And they for sure arent honoring the "POGs" we get as change when we spend cash at the px. So unless you are in a high payscale, most of your pay is "perks".
Anyway, perhaps I have been misunderstood here. Not trolling for pity, and while your thanks ARE appreciated, they are not necessary here. (Thank a vet or two every day. You would be surprised how much it makes their (our) days better.) I am simply venting my anger and frustration in a place where it is acceptable to do so.
You should keep the bike in a storage unit though. Avoid future problems.

carports are a big no-no for any vehicle of any value
i've lost 2 and probably know of 2 dozen more
Roger that...we just closed on a new house (my wife did...I havent seen it yet) so it will be in the garage verrry soon.

congrats big-time !

look @ this way, if ya dropped it (and you will) you'll have yourself to hate for it
this way, someone else takes the blame and rightfully so !
Sorry to hear it. Thanks for your service. I'm getting mobilized to Ft. Knox May 1 for 1 year but will be taking the CBR. Just curious, what makes you think it was because of you being in Iraq? No comp on the insurance? Enjoy the bike when you get back even with the damage until its fixed.
My bro knows who did it. They rented an apartment he has. They know where I am through him. He evicted them for it. They left his bike alone, and only trashed mine, well...they pushed his 600 over to get to mine. They had gotten into a "discussion" about Obama, the war, etc and had expressed strong negative views. No comp insurance on it while in storage, only storage insurance. If they had stolen it, it would have paid out. Go figure.

thats what I was thinking the 50-80 bucks a month would have saved your machine
Scumbags like this should just be shot and discarded........
Sorry to hear about your bike.
Thank you for serving...My youngest son is in Iraq as we speak. (USMC).

Sorry man!!

I never got the busting out car windows or in your case messing with your bike to get back @ someone!! What did that item do to you!!

F*CKING COWARDS!!

But damn bro, you left you bike OUTSIDE, thats not a good look!!
Malik---is brentwood near memphis? ive heard of it, but cant place it on a map...i live near chattanooga. yes, i know i left it outside, but it was under a cover, under a carport, inside a chainlink fence, with two dogs running around in the yard, and with three other bikes, in a neighborhood, and not in direct line of sight from the road. who would have figured it would get bothered. live and learn.
