Are the BT-016 better than the RS?

I'm looking for a good track day tire as since Pirelli has increased their prices I'm thinking of trying out BS this year.
Not really a track day tire, good street tire though.

Try the BT002RS if you want a good bridgestone track tire...super cheap too.

What makes the BT002RS better than the BT-16? I'm new to the Bridgestone tires as I have been a Pirelli guy for sooooo long.

16 are more for mileage

002 are more for sticky
I run the 003 and love them... Yeah the 016 are Street! Great deal though!
I ran my bt016's on the track and they worked well. The edges get nice and sticky when they warm up and they give great feedback.

I do want to get the bt003 and put on my other rims for just trackdays.

*note* I didn't say the 016 wasn't for the track, I simply mentioned the 002 would be better (003 being the best, but pricey). The 016 is compounded to deliver maximum mileage with a bit of grip. The mileage is compromised in the 002 to offer better grip.

Comprende?

Wow, sick deal!!!
Bt 015

Can you get the BT 015 for this price? I had a 2008 zx10 for 1 month. I had a 06 CBR 1000rr for a year and a half before that.I now have a 2009 CBR 1000rr. Lets just say.......I HATED MY ZX10R!!!! LOL!! Within two days I totally fell in love with the new bike.(no matter how ugly the front is. :th_SmlyROFL: ) I couldnt get over how well the bt 015s would gum up and grip. I never got that sense of security with my 016s. And yes both tires were at proper air pressure. I love the 002s. but the 015 is one street tire I would not mind running again.
