Finally located some carbon fenders for my bike. I wanted plain weave in matte finish. Carbon2race sells a few parts for this year and I figured I would check out their fenders and go from there. I couldn't be more pleased with them. I'm gonna install them tomorrow . I'LL let people know how they fit but I don't see there being a problem. These looks as good as the Ducati parts I installed on my 1299 at half the price. I ordered them and they made them to order and I had them 4 days after the let me know they were finished. I paid 335.00 shipped for both fenders.

Nice kit.
Knowing little about CF quality, how does one determine the differences between quality & crappola?

I myself just found company's that did cbr carbon then looked for reviews on the net and you tube. Also read eBay remarks on sellers. The stuff from China seems to get bad marks. Lots of complaints about fitment. Heard remarks on clear yellowing quickly. I guess the best answer is research. Carbon 2 race got good reviews and from what I see is that it really good stuff.

I have the base model . I haven't I stalled them yet . They also make a gp type rear fender . I'll let you know how they fit just to give a d idea of their craftsmanship. Does the sp use the same hugger as mine?

Should be the pretty much the same, that's what that weird cutout off to the right lower side is. It is to clear the Ohlines electronic wires.
The rest of the clearance and fender is the same.

I tried 3 of the preferred brand carbon fenders since March 2018 and none of them lined up both holes to bolt up without getting really close to a 190/50 tire and no hope of fittign with a 190/55.
I ended up needing to use foam spacers to raise the fender, widen the holes etc.
I am still looking for the perfect fit carbon rear fender

All they had to do was copy the OEM.clearence.

Looks like they have an extended rear hugger that you can get in a matte finish, exactly what I've been looking for since I can't find a TaylorMade one.

Also since the part is just raw carbon fiber you can easily take sand paper, a sander, or grinder and take some material off for tire clearance.
The Taylormade GP hugger has plenty of room if you can find one and like the style and looks.
I didn't like the short stock hugger style, with the shit roads here all kinds of crap was hitting my undertail being thrown up from the rear tire but I realize they are there only to protect the shock from damage anyway.

Only fitment issue I had with it was my license plate hitting the hugger, as you can see my license plate is bent to clear the hugger

i’m glad that hugger works for you. Many of us probably like the small, unobtrusive hugger, whether it provides rock protection or not.
To be honest, that hugger on your bike is big, bulky looking, and downright ugly, don’t take it personally it’s just my opinion, I would never want that on my motorcycle.

Well I fitted the front fender and can now say I will only buy from Luka at carbon to race. The thread inserts for the brake line mounts were spot on. On right side the only thing I had to do was cut the collar off the sensor bracket that holds the wire. Also got rid of reflector mount. Bracket on other side is removed completely. Great stuff guys. Hope this helps someone.
