Well, here's another one 😕 .

Rode the bike for about an hour today before heading to an appointment. No issues during the ride.

After the appointment, started it up and saw this:

Motor vehicle Automotive design Gadget Audio equipment Automotive mirror

These aren't my gauges (I neglected to take a photo...found this on Google), but I had the exact same alert.

I've had one instance in the past with my CEL coming on. It basically reset itself the next time I started the bike...without me doing anything. This was probably a year ago. So I thought maybe this was the same. Turned the bike off and back on. The warning above disappeared, but the CEL was still on. Also, not in the photo above, one of the torque control lights was illuminated while I was riding at first. It went off after I restarted the bike.

Needing to get home, I was able to ride the ~20 miles to my house. Gave it a few cautious pulls and it is strong. No noises, rattles, leaks.

When I got home, I checked DTS and it's not throwing any codes, but by the time I shut the bike off the CEL was still illuminated.

Hoping this goes away, but curious if anyone else ever had a CEL with no code? Anything is particular I should look for?

The shop manual doesnt appear to have any info, and the owners manual says "go to the dealer". Because of course.

Hopefully this helps.

My CEL has come on from running the bike on stands multiple times. If you check the DTC in the menu before the bike is shut down it will show the code (11 in my example). However if you turn the bike off and back on the DTC in the list is blank but the CEL remains for 3 cycle periods (start ups) of not registering the same error.
That's really good info to know, thanks!

I'm guessing that's what happened. I didn't check the DTC when the CEL first came on...it was after a start or two. But the code did go away the next day while I was out...or at least the CEL is no longer lit up...so I'm hoping this means everything is good.
