Changing sprocket back to stock front

I went -1 +2. The front comes up so easy in first right when I touch the throttle....but I lost too much top end for me to be happy with. I'm thinking that if I just keep the +2 in the back I'll still have enough power in first to take off fast without having to wheelie all the time and still have more top end power.

As it stands....the other day I did 135 before hitting the rev limiter. I was wearing all my gear along with my OGIO bag with stuff in it. Before that I got up to 143 when I didn't have the bag and only had a vest on. I'd like it to still hit in the 160 range.

Plus 2 in the back is about the same as minus 1 in the front...but both is too much unless you're at the drag strip...

I'm gonna go plus 2 on the '08 myself... my '05 still gets 169 with that gearing... great group buy on sprockets/chains from Brad...

Ready to get those new wheels yet...??? :stirpot:
