Clutch can be changed to a cable type but there are trade offs. Typically, the reason if to provide improved "feel" and control when launching the bike. Next, the cable setup is a little less weight. The actual benefit and value is boarderline, unless you are having some problem of course. I have not seen a cable conversion on the 1000RR yet, and even the factory bikes are still using the hydraulic setup, although very different fromt the stock stuff. Clutch pull is also typically more effort with the cable setup. We have worked on some minor clutch mods to improve feedback and make it easier to launch the bike. Oil type can also play a significant role.
