Did Rossi see this coming-Fiat/Chrysler merger

This is good news for him and Yamaha I think. Great sign of continued revenue and advertisement for Motogp for a potentially huge merger that could mean increased sales for Chrysler...although I haven't considered Chrysler an 'American' company for some time now. Obama selling Chryslers like he was on a showroom floor in his press release today wasn't too cool though. A stop-gap now could lead to monumental concession in our stake in the world auto market later. Scary.

oh great. hopefully they dont plaster "CHRYSLER" all over Rossi's bike now.
Chrysler is a different type of company. They are involved with a lot of things

Chrysler is primarily autos. GM has quite a few other interests but this situation is not good for Chrysler....in the long run.

I'll keep an open for that on the U.S. GPs. LOL

I hope they do, nothing special about Fiat, besides Americans build Chryslers...

Fiat is not doing the deal as of yet and if it is done it will be when they are so far gone and worth nothing that FIAT gets it at a song!

The main reason Fiat wants Chrysler though is there manufacuring and parts plants as well as their distribution network. The US gov has to approve a new auto manufacturer coming into the market and they would not do this for some time now. That is why the other brands have been started or bought by GM, Chrysler and Ford.

As far as I am concerned let them fail along with GM. GM has 36 different trucks you can buy between GM & Chev WHY, they are the same friggin thing with different badging. They all deserve it for over saturation of the market!
