dont let it discourage you from riding...wrecked my first bike back in '94 on gravel...was riding with my roommate, both of us on '91 zx-6d ninja's...went into right hander at about 35-40mph...didnt see the fine gravel on road...went down before i knew what happened...was sliding down the road (in my t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes!!!!!) thinking "dont scratch your helmet..." and watching my bike slide and spark...no major injuries, just a lot of road rash (thats what i get for not wearing gear) and i even rode the bike home...sold it the next week...didnt ride for a few years after that...didnt want to...then i was talked into riding a friends new (at the time) yzf600r...and was hooked again...wife wasnt so thrilled about me getting one, so no joy...then i came over here... and we both learned to live while you can...life can be way too short and it is better to regret something you have done than to regret not doing it, so i got the blessing to get a new bike...my 08 cbr...get back out there and ride dude...seems to me the mx riding is more dangerous anyway...glad you are back to 100%...Stay safe and God bless
