Ever too early changing the exhaust?

I have a new Honda CBR1000 with 750miles on it. Should I wait awhile longer (1000+ miles) before changing the stock exhaust? Is it possible engine damage could occur if changed too early? Thanks for the help!

nope, u can have a different exhaust on it when you pick it up from the dealership. definitely get the power commander to smooth it out though
That's the first thing I do when I buy a new bike.
ive read that some people say to let the bikes "break-in" be done before you start doing performance mods...

This is as common of a debate as WOT break in verse varying RPM break in. A lot of people change the exhaust immediately. I have never seen anything that proves damage by swapping the exhaust too early.
Makes no difference when you change the exhaust.

ditto. barely got by the first service before i had my new one on
