You don't need it. It will help you get more out of that exhaust though. Since you're at it you might as well also gut your intake and install a set of bmc race filters to get the most out of the whole setup and really get the bike breathing well.

Iv just bought a second hand cbr1000rr 07. Very happy with it. It has a stock exhaust. Iv just bided on a slipon on ebay and won. Its called Carbon Racing Exhaust. I picked it up for $229 seems prity cheap. hopefully not nasty. Anyway i was wondering whether i needed a power commander as well to get the most out of my new pipe. Thanks
Hey bro, I can bounce my 2006 cbr 1000 rr up in third and in 4th gear. I can sit down and bring it up in first and shift all the way to 6th gear and she comes down around 150 mph. I just have a rs5 slip on, k&n, and pcIIIYeah thanks ill look into it. Also can u do 3 gear wheelies on your bike. I can only do 1st and 2nd gear. Im a pritty big bloke 110kgs. Im takking about power wheelies not cluch assisted. Thanks for the quick reply. Anything else u recommend to get bike running really well. 1ns again thanks heaps
