Hey, I have an 06' 1krr (bought new in 07') that I was unfortunately not able to ride last year, so its been sitting now for almost 2 years.

Just looking for some advice on starting it up again after that amount of time.

Obviously I'll be draining the tank (its had fuel stabilizer in it refreshed twice) and the battery was taken out. And I'll be doing an oil and filter change, check tires and fluids etc...

Is there anything else I should do to prevent any potential damage to the bike?

Its only got about 4500km on it.

Thanx

Id go ahead and flush the radiator and drain and replace the brake and clutch fluids while youre at it. also be sure and check the tires to make sure they havent dry rotted. if its been kept in a climate controlled environment they should be ok but if theyve been exposed to the weather it wouldnt hurt to be safe. good luck with it and get some pics up soon.
