Front end feel of the 08 Blade...BT015's

Can't seem to get the feel I want from the font of the bike, it's lacking that safe feeling and doesn't seem to dig in properly.

Running like 30ish psi and sag numbers are spot on with rider sag at 40mm front & 30mm rear. I am at approx 210 lbs pounds with full gear. The stock rebound was to loose (was bouncing all over the place) so added one round front and rear. Settled the bike. been trying to take that out again to see if it had any effect on the front, but no difference.

Am going to flush the forks in the triples. This should add some trail and result in better confidence.

It could be the BT015's which is the OEM tires for the Asian and Eurpean versions. Believe the US bikes coems with Dunlops.
Pirelli SC Pro's next up for me.

Any thoughts?
Anyone felt the same and did it get better with different tires?

BTW, I am here talking about spirited road riding not the track.

the bt-015s suck. i ran mine 32psi f/r with decent results, but they're pretty much crap tires.
You may want to put on a set of aftermarket BT-016s. I am running 33 psi in the front and I love them. Those bt-015s are really bad, and even worse in OEM spec.

That is strange. I'am totaly the opposite. I love my bt 015s! I had a set of BT016s on my 08ZX10r. I HATED THEM!!! maybe the honda just handles so much better than the zx10. that it could have built up confidence in the tires. who knows. I even have had it out on some track days.

But i will be buying another set thats for sure.
I love the bt16. They give you a lot of confidence on the turn-in.
Thanks guys....looks like it's time for a tire change.

I usually don't bash the OEM tires as I have found them to decent on all the previous bikes, but this time I am really wondering........

Think I will go SC pro if available......
I've had the 2CT's on the front and rear and just yesterday switched to the BT 002 in the rear. Now the front is still the 2CT for now but NO complaint's with it at all. Tons of confidence in the front! I've gone into a turn and picked my line, dropped in and there was a minor dip in the road and the bike dropped another 1" or 2" and I was totally expecting the front to wash out and it STUCK. BTW - I love the BT 002 in the rear so far
