So I started my bike and rode to a gas station and shut it off to open the tank and when I tried to start it I got the display to kick on but the pump will not prime. Also have a high oil temp light on. Any clue what it might be.

Does it crank? Try jiggling your kill switch with the ignition on while listening for the pump to prime.

So I have figured out the pump is working it’s the ecu not responding
Why do you believe ECU?
Could be kill switch, clutch, neutral, kickstand sensor.
It's highly unlikely your ECU went out just like that. It is likely your ECU is not triggering the fuel pump based on a sensor or switch malfunctioning that is needed to do so.
Bank angle or tip sensor possibly.
