If performance is what you want get the 08. Lighter, stronger, faster.
That's what they say. I've not ridden one yet. They feel nice and small when you sit on them though. Go with what you like and your wallet can swing. If performance is what you want get the 08. Lighter, stronger, faster.
I can swing both really price not much of an issue. It was an 06 with repsol plastics really. Well here is the thing, the 08 kawi 10 has a tremendous vibration in the throttle at all speeds. Its by far the worst vibration out of all the bikes. Secondly as far as handling goes not much difference in corners they both handle superb. Comfort, the honda has it. Power delivery much smoother in the honda as well, the kawi has to be at about 8k rpm to really see the power push through. But dont get me wrong the kawi is very much a great bike and very powerful, but i maybe should have found a honda to test ride first. I just feel a bit better on the honda really is what it boils down to.That's what they say. I've not ridden one yet. They feel nice and small when you sit on them though. Interesting that you liked the cbr so much better than the Kawi, care to give more deaail on that...was it an 06 or 07 cbr? Didn't have repsol in 06. 07 and 06 are the same bike though. Glad you liked though!!
After seeing a dozen 04-07 1000RRs at a bike nite last night, the 08 has the looks covered as well, IMHO. I think the 07 is definitely more photogenic but 08 is better in person. 08 is sleeker and looks/feels more compact.06-07 looks, reliability, price
08-09 performance, weight, oil burner (debatable)
Post pics when you get it. :th_salute:Thank you guys for the great information. This will help in my decision i found a 08 Blade for $8999 brand new, is that a good deal or what? lol
If it were an OTD price, yes. It depends on what kind of B.S. fees the dealer tries to tack on and what you'll pay for TTL. I definately wouldn't pay over $10k OTD on an '08 ... and would negotiate hard for less.Thank you guys for the great information. Thank you, well i got off the phone with the sales man, and it looks like i am gonna get $6500 for my kawi as the trade in and i am gonna have to finance the rest. Hmm idk but i hope it goes well. I am leaning towards the dark candy red and metallic silver color.Post pics when you get it. :th_salute:
