Hi everybody !!
My name is Maxence and I come from south of France.
I've a CBR1000RR SC59 black and white and love electronics !
I actually try to connect an arduino with the DLC connection ;)

Very cool! I've heard of people using Raspberry pi but not yet an Arduino for displaying engine information. CTX-OBD – Gonzo Projects has some good info for how to communicate via the k-line to pull engine data.

I never used Raspberry pi and don't know python but I will try to understand and do with a bluepill using arduino IDE

post your adventures on connecting the Arduino to the DLC port. I belive it's 100% possible.

a few weeks back I got my Arduino connected to the OBD port on the car and was able to pull the basic data such as speed, RPM, coolant temp, throttle position, etc.
I also have the cable that is supposed to convert the 4-pin DLC connection to OBD-II. So in theory, I should be able to just connect these things and read the data from bike's ECU.
But.. too lazy to pull the fairing.
