What did you do about your undertail?

Thanks for the comments guys. as for the undertail I have the plastic cover from the hidden hot bodies exhaust. right now its at the body shop getting the hole filled and painted.

hmmmm, no shit. looks great. thats one of the things i like about the 08's are the side exhausts.

could you please post up what bike/model this is for, and take a few pics of the attatchment points on the header?

its an 04, not an 08

something needs to be done about the tail end
it looks freakish sans the exhaust now

what tag bracket u use??

Looks good. I always wanted to do this side exhaust on my 04. Can you explain how you attached the MGP to the collector tube. I assume you had to do some cutting. Thanks

I think he just meant that is one of the things he likes about the 08's not that he thought this was an 08.

Thanks again for all the comments. I have to pull the lowers off with in the next week or two I will take lots of pictures. Yes it was alot of cutting on the leo vince header and the piping from the can. It really wasn't a well thought out plan, just sat the and kept trimming till the parts line up like I wanted them to then had it welded together.

Its the Hot Bodies MGP exhaust for the 08-09 CBR 1000RR

As for my tag holder its the competiton werkes limted for the 06-07 CBR 1000RR.

+1 and and do you have any pics of the under tail?

Its alittle loud but its not like the guys rolling around with straight pipes on their sportbikes. As for the performance of it, I haven't had it dyno'd so I can't tell you anything for sure. I don't like guessing. The undertail has yet to get back for the bodyshop. I will post pictures of it when i get it installed. I will be getting it dyno'd once I get done with my new project for mapping the bike.

Looks Good

Looks very good, kind of how I'd imagine that 2005 repsol with the reacefit exhaust would have looked without that stretched swingarm. I cut down my own undertail exhaust as much as possible to make it disappear as much as possible but this looks even better. Post up as many pictures as you can when you get a chance!
