Information Post for non UK Honda OEM Parts ordering.
Hi All,
As I stated a couple of weeks ago I would be prepared to help those in need of ordering parts that are only available in the UK/EU well having spoken to my local dealer about pricing and what not it was deemed that they are able to send the parts out cheaper if you order direct from them.
They informed me that the best way to do this and secure any transactions would be to order any parts direct from the website via their parts finder section.
The company is Lings Honda http://www.lings.com/ and if you click the honda parts section near the top of the website you can either put in the part number if you know it or alternatively try and find it by model. If you are unable to find a part then shoot a mail off to them and they will get the info for you.
Inregards to prices and shipping that will all be sorted from the site/company and as they are a main dealer in the east of england they will get the parts in and out as quick as physically possible.
One other thing by using lings they will be able to cover any loss or damage to any items whereas I am unable to. If you need any further information then please let me know.

David Silver is another reputable company they mainly deal with parts whereas lings is a dealer so if you want to use them then that should be ok as well but I cant speak on their behalf on delivery or service levels as I have only ever used them once a couple of years ago.
For the hugger just change the middle 8*0 number to find the others the same goes for any other colour coded parts.

I like the seat bag they have. What does it mean when they say something mounts by presets? Im wondering if the rear bag will work if I have a fender eliminator kit on the bike.
The rear bag uses the pillion seat latches to hold it in place as I understand so you lift your pillion seat put the bag on and then secure it under the seat and put the seat back on. I am pretty sure you will not be able to use it with a solo seat cowl as it does not have the space between the tail fairing and the cowl for the straps to feed under the cowl and secure in place.I like the seat bag they have. no black listed for the 09? I ran into this with the seat cowl. Finally ordered one in graphite black for the 08 and it matches. I have updated the posting troy, as far as I know it is the same black as the 08 the Candy Achilles Black is something new for 09 in the UK/Europe.
If all else fails with people wanting to order one for their yellow bike just order Graphite Black that will match the Tank black.

Just ordered from david silvers.the white rear hugger... they were better on price than lings. and didn't charge that VAT TAX THING. saved over $80.00 U.S. in comparison to ling's.. hope they deliver fast..lol...
