well for any of you who actually read some of the b/s i post up I thought it would be nice to see the resurrection of my baby. For any others i figured you would enjoy another honda being put back onto the road.

I crashed a few months back, and finally got everything located and shipped to put her back together again. I rebuilt her with love in my garage.

I want to thanks everyone who treated me well when it came to finding parts. Brad gets top nod as he always comes through. JetCityRacer hooke me up, and Rocky1 do you recognize that rear rim. Like the strip so ill put one on the front too. Plus the countless guys who lended some advice, or just bullshited with me will i worked on her.

87 degrees today when i took her out. Let it idle for about 20 minutes to make sure everything worked the same when she was hot. Noticed a funny whinning noise, then noticed i tightned the right switch too tight. So the starter button was stuck inside. Easy fix, then i noticed i had to change the fuse running the main fan as it didnt work either.

After the pre ride inspections took her for leisure run, everything seemed fine. So then i rode her like she was meant too be ridden. What a great bike, all that time on the new r1 had me forgetting this is the best I4 ever made (the crossplane not included). Im not going to compare the two anymore, theres no need too, A man with unlimited funds would want both in his stable for sure.

Oh it cost me less than a grand to get her back to new, minus alittle rash on the tank. All in all about 4 hours of labor, but if you want to include finding great deals on used parts, well im not counting.

Glad she's back
so did you get the turn signals figured out? and let's see the pics...
Congrat bro! Im gonna be doing the exact thing over the next few months myself. It looks like a long way off but Im gonna be patient and search for some good deals. Theres some good people on this site and Ive had several messages from people with parts already just dont have the funds at the moment.
thanks, no im waiting on the relay to fix the signals. If that dont work then ill look into it, just want to ride the weekend.

patience is everything, you will see some good deals miss you buy, just remember there is always one constant in motorcycles, people go down. you will be surprised how many parts you can find.
glad to hear you got her back together and riding again already...post up some pics for us

yeah glad to hear that your baby is back. Next time just be careful not to crashed her again. Congratulation and see you in the road with your baby.
All I could think of when I read the title was when ace ventura finally got his car to crank in the first movie.
