Time to rant for the day.....

Fock me, I'm tired of mother f*ckers on their cellphones while driving. My state isn't doing chit about it, so I'd like to see the Federal F'in government pass a national law banishing it. I'd like to see it ticketed like a DUI as well since studies have shown it to be just as dangerous. I can't even drive at the speed limit on the highway anymore. Driving use to be fun, it's not anymore. Sometimes I wish it was Road Warrior days and I'd mount grilles on the front, rear, and sides of my car and just ram people off the road

For twenty miles today on a straight drive I had to drive at 50MPH in a 60MPH zone in the fast lane. The other 3 lanes weren't moving any faster so it's gridlock on the highway, and this wasn't during rush hour. It's getting really bad here.

sit on their ass. run up on them quickly. keep your lights on when booking
ive found when i do all three, most eventually move, if not right away.

If the fast lane was just used for passing it, but nooo everyone has to drive in every single lane at the same speed, i am sick of this crap too.

Considering I had to drive my cage to drop it off for free service at the stealer today, this wasn't an option.

Amen! I'm not for big government but something has to be done about the stupid cell phone drivers. I had a guy come look at my bike (still for sale) yesterday. He got creamed by a girl on a cell not paying attention.

We got the cell phone law in Cali and it aint done shit. Everyone still yappin away while driving 15 mph below the speed limit and tapping their brakes!

I agree, it needs to be treated like DUI.

If a person is in an collision (not accident), just like they can check your BAC, they should immediately check the cell phone log, and if they were using it within 5 minutes prior to the collision it should be their fault regardless of what happened.

i feel ya man. i used to be the most laid back person on earth. here lately, i can't get behind the wheel or on my bike without getting so pissed off i'm afraid the vein in my neck is going to explode. there should be IQ tests administered to get a license

I usually right with my bright on when in town so no one pulls out in front of me, one time I forgot to turn it off before getting on the freeway and I found that it shines right at the rear view mirror level of most cars and reflects right into their eyes (assuming their mirror is adjusted for actually looking behind them and not putting on their make-up or watching their kids). After a while they get sick of the light and get out of the way.

They can ban it and enforce the hell out it, doesn't make much difference see it all the time...

Although when I was adjusting the sat nav on my phone while parked up in an industrial estate they tried to do me for using my phone, funnt that, *****.

A ban on all handheld devices was just passed here in Ontario and will be law in the fall. At this point it just looks like a cash grab as people will only be fined and no demerit points taken.

If you can't use a cell while driving there's a good chance you can't drive for shit in the first place.
