Just thought I would share a few pics of my latest install. I installed Proton flush mount front signals on my CBR within the 1st couple weeks of purchasing but didn't care for the way they limit the visibilty of the front turn signals to oncoming traffic & people seeing me in their rear view mirror. Hopefully this will help & look good at the same time!

Looks good John.

Hey John,
They look/feel exacly the same as the stockers(size/shape). I have not ridden with them yet as the weather here in MN has been cold/rainy today & for the next few days the same sort of weather is forecasted. I might be able to take it out for a rip this weekend though...hopefully!

Thanks again for your help John!!

Looking good! I have attempted this on 2 occations. The 1st time the mirrows were way to far down and I couldn't see crap. The 2nd time the wires were going to be exposed something terrible. Are these 2 or 3 wire mirrors? Where are the wires being ran to? Are the wires visiable?

Hey Thump1,
These are a 2-wire(signal only, not running lights) set-up. The wires are only slightly exposed(about 1/4") where they come out of the bottom of the mirror stalk and into/thru the mirror base mount. Once the power wire(which originally is white in color) is changed to black with the help of a Sharpie pen the wires are no longer noticable.

Looks nice. Can you make them strobe as well?

Where'd you get them and how much were they? thanks

Hello GGenovese,
I didn't try hooking the power wire from the mirror to the appropriate Proton wire(s) for the strobe effect so I can't answer your question with 100% confidence as I have my Protons hooked up for the standard flash. Can a electrical 'guru' chime in here & help answer this for GGenovese?

Thanks,
-John

Thanks, looking good. I have been trying to contact a company called Speedzilla for about 1 1/2 years and they absolutely will not respond. I have several questions for them like are their mirrow 2 or 3 wire etc. I have given up on them though.
Looks good:thumbsup:

I forgot to mention about the sharpie...I did that too.

Please can you tell me where you got them from? do you uhave a web adrees for them?
i have the same problem with my flushmounts-you can't be seen, could you hook up the flush mounts to the other wire to have them on as running lights and have the mirrors on the signal without a load problem????
These look great!

I'd be interested in a set since I need to replace my stock mirrors from a lowside!

Where did you pick them up from? roughly how much $$?
Those with some HIDs would make the bike stand out to cagers a lot better!
