Just making sure I'm clear with GP shift "mod"

All I do is pretty much move the shift rod to the other side, right?

And yes, I will be relocating those breather valves! I looks like I might be tight on the front sprocket cover for clearance, though...

Yes, flipping the shift rod accomplishes the task... but you will need to cut/modify the sprocket cover, or remove it entirely (not recommended by some).
Where do you get that cover?

I just called a bunch of local shops for custom carbon fiber pieces to make that cover (based off of Taylormade's design) but I was quoted like 2k lol. I can't find any aftermarket covers for it either. It would be super easy if someone had the part I could borrow so I could make a mold out of it (2014 1000RR).

Also, what's up with the ecu pic? lol

This is a composite picture I use on Instagram when people ask about GP shift on 2017/18/19 using OEM Quickshifter and OEM rear sets
The ECU is included in the picture because for SC77 using the OEM QS and OEM layout rear-sets the ECU needs to be custom flashed to work QP shift.
Oh okay. Are there any options for aftermarket sprocket covers? I don't want mine to look shitty with the dremel work...
Done properly and sanded afterwards you cant see that it has been trimmed.
I'm garbage at finesse lol
Spent a great deal of my afternoon looking for it or anything used. Couldnt find a damn thing. In fact, the Taylor made is no longer in business.
A stock sprocket cover is like $15.00 from RevZilla. Get one and hack it up. Who knows, you may find some hidden finesse. Also, there are a few threads in here that illustrate where to cut pretty well.

I flipped my shifter and in GP shift it won’t shift from first to second without the clutch. After that all gears shift without the clutch. Has anyone seen this before?

did you ever get an answer to this question? I have an OEM quick shifter and I flipped the top of the shift rod over on the gear and I have the same issue. do you have a quick shifter?
