looped the bike
like the title says I looped my 07. gave her a lil too much on the right hand as I hit a bump in the road and she shot straight up. next thing I knew I was rollin down the road. unfortunately this one of those rare days I was squidding it up without my gear on, just helmet and gloves. fortunately I just got some rash on my forearm shoulder lower back ass and knee nuthin major. Im up walkin around. some friends passed by right after and they got the bike loaded up for me and brought me home. I just changed clothes and bout to go to the hospital to get checked out. bike looks like shit. whole upper is gone sides and tank cover might be salvageable tail is destroyed, subframe is twisted crazy. only saw one lil scratch on the frame and a scuf on the swingarm, rear rim is bent up and front is just scratched. pretty sure forks are gonna be trashed too. I dont full coverage due to it being over $4000yr so I can justify having to spend a couple grand to repair her. looks like Ill be getting my auctmarts fairings and some upgraded forks and wheels here soon. ok I think Im done now and gonna go to the ER now. Ill post some pics when I can get some, the bike went to a friends house for now.

I could see that for sure, my front end would lift cresting the hill on the front straight at road america if i didnt let off a bit or drag the rear brake.

Some how I have trouble mustering up any sympathy for you. looping a bike really isn't just something that happens out of the blue.......and doing it with no gear is just plain brilliant

damn, that sucks. I'm 205 and can't get my 06 up in 2nd without the clutch.
thanks for the concerns guys Im ok just some rash and bruising nuthin a couple weeks takin it easy wont fix. Im 240lbs myself and have no problem at all powering it up thru 1st and 2nd, never have clutched it. I dont ride wheelies but it does bring itself up alot this time it just happened so quick.
to the guy that said he has no sympathy I can honestly say I dont blame, I fucked up and it just happened to be the day I wasnt wearing my gear, I was careless I know. my pride is hurt more than anything and Im actually embarrased I did sumthin like this.
as for the bike Ill start stripping her down asap and gather a list of what its gonna take to fix her. not having full coverage ins was sumthin I chose and was prepared to deal with so its gonna take some time to save up some money. oh well live and learn right? now I have an excuse to make some improvements she wont be goin back stock.
