Motorcycle parking at work

Ok so I need to preface this by saying I'm extremely grateful to have a job right now... Saying that

Motorcycle parking-
It's early in the riding year up here in MN so people are just getting used to having us on the road again.
I work for a good sized healthcare company where our corporate offices have probably 2-3k employees in the building on a regular basis and our parking lots are flat lots not ramps. There are 6 whole spaces marked off as motorcycle parking that are kind of close but not next to the building by any means. The spaces are striped and clearly state motorcycle parking and I get to share them with between 6 to 18 bikes depending on the day...
For the past few weeks we've been lucky enough to share our spot with a couple of minivan drivers who feel they shouldn't need to walk an extra 50 feet so they park their breeder vans in our motorcycle spots.
Worst part is building security won't do anything about it until they sweep and re-paint the spots. Apparently the yellow stripes and "motorcycle parking" signs aren't enough WTF!

They tow cars from the expectant mother parking and the handicapped spots if you don't belong there but they won't even call an employee to get them out of the motorcycle parking...

I would call whatever towing the company uses and have them towed. If they woulnt do it do it yourself, act like your whoever is in charge of callin em and tell em to come tow em away. Lol. That's what I would do, a few towed cars and they would get that point
Yeah, I was thinking the same as to what SPJ said.
I like it
If they don't fix it by next week I'm calling

In past years they've put up posts on the edges of the parking and big metal strips for kickstands... maybe they'll get it done over the weekend.
If you want to be nice about it, you might want to talk to the bldg mgr boss. If it were me, I'd think that I'm being neglected and my right to my designated parking is being stomped on, so I'd just call the tow.

If he does, then when he tries for option #2 then they'll know/presume it was him that got them towed. the object here is to keep your motorcycle spots open WITHOUT finding your bike tipped over after work one day!

Yeah I thought about that; depends on how many bikes park there and if he can play ignorant about it. WWKB do?

Leave the situation alone ENTIRELY. You could do eveything in your power to handle the situation respectfully and efficiently and get caught up w/some dipshit who wants to blow the situation way out of preportion....even though they're in the wrong. Imagine coming home to your family and telling them you lost your job due an altercation over a motorcycle parking space?!

Yeah, the wife wouldn't be happy if I was hanging out at home all week because of something like that.

Saying that I called in a favor this morning with a woman in our office servcies and she said if I get the plate numbers she'll make them move their cars for me. Should be fun to watch as I can see the spots from our windows.
Trust me, THIS is why they invented arson.
Glad it worked out for you PMC. I love working from home and rarely have to think politically. Mofo's taking staplers and sh*t

Yes, but sooooo much less money for bike toys at the same time.

I'd probably be forced into the full time job of looking for work which sounds harder than actually working.
I really do have a pretty good gig and my commute is nothing... it's just those snotty bitches who poach my parking that frost my ass. Come Monday they'll be having to move their vans on break :)
