Hi,

Im looking for a pair of round amber LED's about the size of a quarter to mount in the location shown in pictures. If anybody has done this would you please contact me or post some pics and info on where you bought the LED's. I can't find round LED's smaller than 2". Thanks in advance...:th_salute:

the best solution would be to try and search electronics shops in the UK we have maplin electronics but there are loads online that do plenty of different leds from smb's to traffic lights.

I'm actually trying to do the same thing... here's what I may go with

cheesy site but if you scroll about 1/4 of the way down there are some "standard 4 LED pod" and some "Extreme 6 LED pod!!" (i put the !! in there myself). I'm just not sure if the 6LED pod would fit. I've also considered buying some single LEDs and drilling individual holes and putting a cluster of them together in the plastic itself... we'll see. Let us know what you end up doing.
Go to http://tripageled.com/main.html contact T, and he will hook you up. I'm working with him rightnow to put my rear blinkers in my passenger pegs!:th_salute:

Here is where I found mine. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0008071879&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT&viewitem=

Looks great, fits perfectly, and is very bright. I actually my bodyshop guy professionally cut, moldo, and paint my OEM FE. The whole thing cost as follow:

Professional FE Mod (cut, moldo, and paint): $40
LED turn signal Lights: $23 with shipping
LED plate light: $12 with shipping http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0411582819&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT&viewitem=
Aluminum plate holder: $12 shipped

So the whole thing cost $87. Compared to the $200 bikelitez my custom fender eliminator looks as great or better. It certainly looks a lot better than the hotbodies I used to have.

I would also suggest getting some led resistors (which I also have) for the led turn signals.

Hope this helps.

Thanks eddie,

I decided to just go ahead and order a new tail light with intergrated turn siginals. If Im not happy with it I will go ahead and order those LED's you have. They are exactly what I was looking for. Here is a pic of the lamp assembly I ordered.

Thanks again...

Good choice man. I'm sure it will look great.
Ive got that tail and im happy with it.

If you want more indication you can always ad those indicators after.

The tricky part is fitting the Motrax LED relay, I burnt 4 fuses working out which wires go where.

Good Luck
