I have a virus on my home computer can seem to get rid of it! Wanted to turn to you my RR brethern and see if anyone can help. I have a virus called Trojan.Win32.Stubby can anyone tell me how to kill it? Thanks for your help!!!!

Easy...go get a anti virus software. if you have one you might need to update the dat files to update your software. Mcafee or Norton antivirus give a free trial antivirus scan. i'm not sure if they offer that anymore though

Don't know if it will work, but have you tried to restore the PC through device manager??? Resroe it back to the day before you got it...just a thought.

I would recommend getting norton antivirus and scanning the computer. Best 40 bucks you ever spent for the peace of mind.

he meant "System Restore" in windows XP. Not sure if that would work cause it does not affect the running of the system but its worth a shot

go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp and do a free scan of your computer system. Then get a good antivirus program (I'd recommend Norton Antivirus, but NOT Norton SystemWorks)

Norton Antivirus, it's pretty much the industry standard.

Thanks for the info guys. I have some stuff to get rid of it tonight. It would not system restore(windows xp is what I have). It has been a real pain to figure out but I appreciate all your help!! :beer:
