looks nice to me. How does it fit?
I think it's a great protector. It's what I wear too. The only one I think is better is the Helimot TLV. Great features at a fantastic price.

Like a glove!! Its a 6 plate, they have a 7 plate for ppl over 5 10. VERY comfortable, wide elastic velcro strap and adjustable shoulder straps. Cant wait to 'try' it out! :th_SmlyROFL:

I have Alpine Stars leathers. Does this type of back protection fit under leathers? Also, does it provide more protection than what comes with the leathers?

MY OPINION: unless you've ordered a custom tailored suit with a specific add-on protector, you're much better off with an aftermarket one (like the one the OP posted).

There are very good pieces that can be had for much less than $100. My spine is worth at least that.

+1! one thing i did find out today riding home from work is, i had to remove the cheap foam 'armor' that came in the jacket back. My helmet would hit the top of the pad in a full tuck with the other back protector in place. When i took the foam out of the jacket back, volia...no more problem

sixty bux is half a trackday :)

Yes, you're going to need to remove that pos foam back padding they put in all the suits/jackes.

Congrats on the purchase, TX. Glad you like it
