I have been posting on the 600rr.net boards for the past year or so, and I did not even realize there was a 1000rr.net too (dumb!).

My name is Cody, and I live in Palos Verdes, just North of Long Beach and San Pedro. My father is a Honda executive so I am fortunate enough to ride quite a bit of motorcycles and get to enjoy the kind of riding guys my age only dream about.

Thanks for stopping in here and I can't wait to get to know some of you!

Welcome!!! I hate you already:thefinger: Hahah. Just kidding, jealousy is a bisnitch!!

Also, if your pops knows of any job openings, I have a mechanical engineering degree but would be willing to do almost (non-:gay:) anything. Sorry for jacking your thread with employment solicitations but I'm broke,,,, and who wouldn't want to work for Honda?????

Sadly, honda isn't hiring now or any time soon. VSP's are in full swing and people are heading out the door fairly frequently.
I have ridden quite a few bikes before they come out, but instead of trying to remember them all, I'm just going to post up the list of all the bikes I have ridden. Kept it since 2007 when i got my M1 license, so you can see the perks of being a young guy with a father in the motorcycle industry.
The bikes in bold are the ones I was fortunate to ride before they were publicly released.

2003 Honda Nighthwak 250
2006 Honda CB 919
2006 Honda VFR Interceptor 800

2008 Honda VFR Interceptor 800
2009 CBR1000RR (ABS)

Oh, and to toot my own horn one last time, if you guys were subscribed to Red Rider Magazine back in 2008, I was the rider on the cover of the 2008 CBR1000RR intro.

Sorry, didn't read all the posts.

My favorite Honda to ride? Tough one, I really am in love with the RC51, but on the track the new 1000RR is really incredible. I didn't care much for the 1098S I rode, but I loved the Triumph 675. I still love Honda the most out of all the companies I have ridden, but I have deep respect for the other big companies out there.

The new V4 stuff is kinda secret so I'm not at liberty to discuss what I've heard of it, but I will tell you my father is looking to fight the Japanese on this one to make it a bike the people in the U.S. want.

Thanks :)

I try to make sure I become the best rider I can be so I can ride for longer and longer. Too many of the guys my age are not wearing proper gear, not taking time to learn their limits, and are not taking care of their bikes.
