New pants...fit too tight in waist

Ok...i did a search and couldnt quite find what i needed. I got my new leather track pants in yesterday, and they fit great in the legs from the hips down...trouble is in the waist. I got a size 34 since i fit in a 32/33 jeans. These dam things nearly cut me in half!!! I had a bitch of a time tryin to snap them closed! once i finally did get them snapped, i did notice ithey seemed extremely tight in the waist/ upper hip area, but like i said, the legs/crotch were a good fit, not real tight but not super loose either. bending.sitting/riding position felt good. My question is, should i exchange them for 1 size up in the waist and take them to a taylors to have the legs altered since im sure they would be too big or should i wear these to my gym and sit in the wet sauna for awhile and go ride til theyre dry and see if they will stretch a bit in the waist? Thanks!!!
Oh...fieldsheer sport air pants in case ya ask

I'd have 'em altered. The possibility of the next size bigger being way wrong is pretty good.

Pix of them cutting you in half would be good. (lol)

Yea....dont think so!!!! :thefinger: lmao!!! Dont need my man muffin showin over the waistband!! haha!!
I disagree, trade them in for one size up, the legs will fit just fine. When you sit on the bike the legs will be just right.

you dont think the legs will be too loose on a size up? they fit pretty good in the legs now on and off the bike
do you know until you try? if you get the next size up and the legs fit, then you've done what you need to do! if they don't then you can have them altered, either way i think you're better off with the next size up.
not tryiong to be a dick about it.... but make sure you have them pulled all the way up.. meaning if they zip into a jacket they will need to be worn higher than you normally wear jeans/pants hence why most ppl end up with a moose knuckle
Get the larger size.
It's easier to take in the legs than let out the waist

Got this settled! Went to the local alteration place on lunch today, let the dude look at the pants. He brings out a 5 gallon bucket, turned it upside down, pulled the pants over the bottom of the bucket got em zipped and dam near snapped! i was like...whoa...:hail:. We shot the shit bout bikes turns out he used to ride before having a family and other things come up. (medical reasons) He did this trick to his leather pants and suits to help break em in. After about 20 min i tried em on and they fit lots better!! still a lil tight in the waist but I was able to get em snapped easier! He told me to do the bucket trick again and add some hot hot water around the waist if i want to stretch em a lil more or just sit in the wet sauna at the gym for 15 min the ride til dry! I think ill jus wear em on my day off tomorrow and ride to break em in! Thanks for all the help thou yall! this site RAWKS!
