Pay it forward

Well the other day, I was in a hurry and left my key in my bike at the parking garage at work. Didn't notice until I was about to leave that I probably left my damn key in the ignition and was freaking out about it. When I got out to the bike I noticed the key wasn't in the ignition and was wondering if I lost it somewhere. I glanced down and noticed it was tucked away underneath my parking pass. A fellow biker parked next to me must have noticed the key and hide it for me. Thought that was a pretty awesome thing to do!

yeah it always a great hing when a fellow biker helps another.

I was at a gas station, already purchased the gas and the machine wouldnt read my debit card. Went inside, ATM was out of order and the machine at the register wouldn't read the card either (and yes i had money in the account:thefinger:). I was going to leave them my id card go home get my other debit card and come back when a gentleman behind me in line offered payed for my gas. I was very apprciative, shook his hand and tried to get his info to pay him back. He shook my hand back and said, "No worries, I ride a Harley and just lookn out for a fellow biker."

Very nice!

Most Harley guys dont like us "street bike guys" kinda silly if you ask me.
Yea, "Street bike guys" won't wave at me when I'm on my Harley, and Harley guys won't wave at me when I'm on my CBR. I just wave at them all. It's all a hoot!
good chit right there..yes sir..
It is great to hear there are still nice people out there. Bikers got to stick together.
Karma dude, just pay it back. I've returned debit cards left in the ATM machine (I could have withdrew every penny they had), stopped to help a Harley guy stuck on the side of the road (gave him a lift back to his house so he could get his truck), changed a tire for an African lady who barely spoke any English, who was driving a beat up Lexus with a tire 1/2 inflated, and on and on. Just a month ago, I was out training my dog at the park and I guess I dropped my phone. I walked back home and realized when I got inside, that I didn't have my phone. I freaked out. Ran immediately back to the park and traced my steps. While walking around looking like a dickwad, a lady (lives in my hood) that I had met a week earlier, comes up to me and asks if I lost something. She had my phone, and it was undamaged. :hail:

Not to shit on this lovefest, but I would have taken the key altogether and left you a note. You would have had to find me and prove you were who you said you were. Who would have been to blame is some asshole theif found those keys where that guy hid it? Don't get me wrong. I'm happy for you that everything turned out O.K. God bless.

Oh I've definitely pay'd it forward a few times before and since then,

It would have been the OP's fault not the guy that put the key in a less noticeable place. Not saying your idea is bad, that's probably the best thing. Maybe Joe Samaritan didn't have the time or wasn't going to be in the area. So i figure he did the next best thing.

 for paying it forward that's fo sho!

The OP.
That's pretty cool. I have one that's kinda funny...

About 6 months ago around 11pm, someone rang our doorbell while we were laying in bed. We don't know many people who live near us so it freaked us out quite a bit. I got dressed and went downstairs and looked out the window and couldn't see anybody. My wife was upstairs looking out the window and said she could see a car with its trunk open in the driveway. I go up and look and sure enough, there's a car with its trunk open but I still can't see anybody. The doorbell rings again. Feeling pretty freaked out now, I grab my 9mm from the closet and head downstairs to open the door. As I'm heading down, my wife says that the trunk of the car outside is closed but the car is still there.

I open the door, and there's nobody there. I walk out to where I can see the driveway and find that it's MY car in the driveway halfway pulled into the garage. I had taken a keg out of the trunk earlier in the day and forgot to close the trunk and pull my car into the garage afterwards. Some nice neighbor came over and closed it for me. :eek:wned:
