Got your moneys worth out of that one
Why did you replace it? That tire was still good
11,000....WTF? I can't get 4k from a rear.
From the looks of that exhaust, I get it.

you and me both brother...im wondering if he pulls a fred flinstone to get the bike rolling or what. how do you get that many miles out of a tire is beyond me...
I can't get more than about 2500 from a rear...and 4000 on a front... twisting that right grip is expensive...but fun!!!

yes this is very true
Way back when I had my Y2K Gix 600, I got 9k miles before I had to change either tire...
The OEM tires are harder than regular.
Sick, I don't change my rear tire until I see the cords either. I don't get nearly as many miles out of mine then you do though.
sides go first

I'm lucky to get 1500-2000 miles out of a set.Sides used up first.Never see cords in the middle.
I only got 4000 out of my stockers. Could have got a little bit more but found a nail in a parking lot and had to change it out...
11K is unreal! I am about to get another set and the bike only has 3K on it!
Tire wear depends a lot on what roads you ride on too, some wear more than others. Going down through parts of highway 101 down to san luis obispo causes stupid tire wear, I pulled over to take a leak once and my back tire looked like a damned pencil eraser with all the tire shavings pushed from the center of the tire out to the sides. I don't know what it is about that particular stretch of freeway that eats tires like that.
