i am trying to remove the fairing between the seat and back rider seat. There are clips beneath the center cowl fairing which i cannot remove. Jeezzz the fairings of honda is like a puzzle and why put a clip which is hard to reach and to remove. Do you know the secret of removing it?

I can't remember either if I pushed the pin from the back (out) or if I pushed the pin through a little. I do know at least 2 broke. Fortunately, I ordered a few boxes with a wide variety of these type of clips.

You might want to post what year your bike is.

I’ve had mine off my 2018, but it’s been a while and I‘m not where I can look at it right now. My memory is that the main culprit is four small screws you can see when you take the rear seat off.

A lot of it after than is just unsnapping parts and being careful not to break tabs. There could be other screws I’m not remembering.

If it's 2020 onwards RRR-SP then there are 2 of these tucked underneath, one on each side of the rear seat opening. They are hard to get at but you need to press the middle part in and then slide them out! Took me an age and lots of swearing. 🤬 Good luck and hope it helps.
