Hey fellas,

I bought a mid-pipe for a cat delete on my SC-77 and I need to take it off the bike to cut it and install the mid-pipe. That being said, do I need to replace the exhaust header gaskets? I thought I read somewhere that when the exhaust header comes off, they need to be replaced? If someone who has done this can please chime in I would appreciate it. I have included a picture of which gaskets talking about. It shows "new" on the number 5 part in the picture as well but just making sure I actually need to replace them.

For 'emissions' compliance yes. But in practice no. They are hollow ring gaskets that are crushed when tightened down, so they won't perfectly seal if reused.

^^ Thanks brother, I figured that was the case. My local Honda dealer called me today, the gaskets are in!
