Well, the whole "helping a pro race team" has its ups and downs -- mostly downs when they won't take the advice and try treat a modern electronics managed bike like a cable throttle carbed bike from 1999.

But either way, Sport Kit unlocked SC77 ECUs are doing great in ongoing US street and track testing.

All this talk about HRC Sport Kit this and ETV tuning that and Torque Management optimizing....

Enough talk!!!

Let’s Ride!!!

If you want to tap the full potential of your SC77 with a truly purpose design & customized ECU tune for your street or race SC77 that can now include the Sport Kit Menu, drop me a line!

I develop what I ride and I ride what I develop, I may be the new "kid" on the block, but that doesn't change the facts - I am the SC77 specialist. (y):coffee:

RC45 i also am interested in getting my ecu flashed.i was going to ask if you recommended anyone, because you know the sc77 inside and out. then i found this post showing you do this now. I've watched people on you tube advertising their dyno tunes and when they show the dash the traction control and check engine lights are lit because they didn't know to turn off the front wheel speed sensor.I dont want those guys touching my ecu.If you do this service I am interested please send me some info. I have a 17 SP1 K&N air filter and 2 bros exhaust with a servo buddy

I am preparing a revised feature list as I am dropping the base street option in favor of a tweaked "Stage 2" Street option.

Going forward there will only be 2 levels of insanity - Stage 2 (Race, Expert or Street versions) and full HRC. (y)

Too bad unlocking the sport kit eliminates the speedometer. That's kind of a deal breaker for someone like me who is predominantly a street rider but also likes to play with gearing and tires sizes. Bummer.

Yeah that does suck.
@RC45, could someone who wanted to change tire sizes or gearing still have that done in the ECU (as a one time change or calibration in the ECU) and go with the street tune and keep the speedo or is the only way to access the tire/gear calibration in the ECU to go full HRC ECU?
Hope that makes sense

Well, it is a track orientated feature set that is supposed to only be accessible with the HRC ECU.

The more serious track folks have purchased a second ECU that we set up with Sport Kit enabled and then their street ECU is tuned to the same performance level and they swap in the Stage 3 Race Sport Kit ECU for track days and Stage 2 Expert tuned ECU goes back in for street riding.

That way they have the best of both worlds. (y) :coffee:

This is another option that has been exercised - I am working with a gent that has taken the Sport Kit option and we have worked through what settings work best for his tire, sprocket and shifting needs - a very successful COTA track day was part of the setup process and in the end we will probably back the interface down to Stage 2 Expert with the now custom settings hard codded in.

Or I can hard code tire, sprocket and shifter settings into non-Sport Kit the ECU from the get go.

I think one of the biggest value adds I am bringing to the SC77 community is my ongoing support for the ECUs after delivery with updates and continued development work.

I couldn't agree more!
The fact that you are doing all this for yourself and your love of the SC77 and the enjoyment you get out of figuring out new avenues in the ECU and tailoring your experience to others needs has me sold and would be a no brainer for me and I don't even own the SC77...... Yet!
