I thought I would tell all the SC77 owners that we have pretty much solved the Tire Size and Sprocket Calibration Issue plaguing this bike.

We have a solution that allows the SC77 ECU to be custom calibrated for specific tire sizes as well as sprocket sizes and the final tests are being done on Wheelie Control & Traction Control being split for the 2017 and 2018 bikes.

Unfortunately because I am not a Supporting Vendor I will not be offering this ECU update as a service through this (or any other) forum .

If you want to get updates on the release of this tire size and sprocket calibration solution follow me on Instagram rcfourfive

And as a final bit of inside scoop I can share, it looks like the traditional channels are not having as much success cracking the SC82 (or the new R1) as first anticipated. :ROFLMAO:

I don't know you...and I'm new to this forum but I've been on forums since the late 90s.
The knowledge and mechanical talent you have is out of this world. Every forum has that 1 guy who basically can do it all. That's you on this forum.
I might not post much...but I read every thing and I see how much you contribute. Vendors are vendors. $ is the goal and that's normal.
But please don't let that upset you. People look up and to you for your knowledge on here and the other forums you're on. I've seen your posts on MotoHouston as I'm a local also. Probably one of the most intelligent guys I have seen on any forum I've been on and most humble.
I'm not nut swinging you...just giving you my honest opinion about what I see.

Pls do share when everything is final, and working, and I will be for sure contacting you. And pls continue doing it here, some of us don't need yet another social platform, and personally I cannot stand Instagram. :D
I wonder if that vendor is updating ECUs for free with the TC solution? Yeah, he pays for the services, so I would also expect to have seen a thread by him stating "sent us your non TC working flashed by us ECU for a free re-flash" thread. It goes BOTH ways, you know... Not only when selling, but backing up your work.

RC, just relax... it is not worth it. And thanks for contributing.

This is exciting news. WC and TC separated on 17-18? I am very curious... will we get a separate dash option? Is it possible?

Sleep on it RC before you do anything rash. I've been in the same position before with forums, stores, vendors, delivery services, etc. (especially Amazon.com over the past year, geesh). As far as the internet in general goes, being anonymous seems to bring out the worst in people, who in my opinion are pretty bad to begin with.

I personally would appreciate it if you'd stick around and keep speaking truth to power.

I slept on it. I already did the rash thing and aired my grievance and played the "aight I'ma outa here" card so there is no putting that genie back in the bottle - and even after sleeping on it am still pissed at the petty call out. I checked my PayPal and I believe I actually already paid money for a lifetime membership to the club a couple years back, not that thats a"vendor status" upgrade, but is sorta implies a commitment to the community rather than a simple vendor/customer relationship which could in my mind actually be viewed in a more positive light.

As for Insta, I also thought it was just for teenage girls and Facebook refugees but literally I get more interaction with pure motorcycle enthusiasts in a day than a month on a forum.
I just uploaded a video of me walk starting the 250 2 stroke and its been viewed 4,500 times in 2 days.
The SuperBike photo-spread is sitting at 45,000 views in 2 weeks. That/s 43,000 non-followers putting eyes in the SuperBike yet the Insta account only has 1200 followers.
There is a lot of good stuff motorcycle related on Insta and its even easier to use than FarceBook.

Anyhooo... here's a little teaser for the SC82 folks... I never claimed to know everything but when I say I do know something, I am not bullshitting or guessing, I really do know what I am talking about in the context of the statement "I know this or that".

Take note of the Warranty Voiding use fo the Launch Control on the street LOL

So therefore they warranty the bike on closed circuit racing?

Feel free to test that theory on your AUS$50,000 SP :D:LOL:

And you didn't hear any of this from me since I am not here and none fo this information constitutes an offer or solicitation of service...

But this Oil Cooler will be a decent upgrade to a modded SC77.
(and see how the AI thinks this picture is porn.. sorry folks AI is a really not ready for the main stream.
Sensitive content, not recommended for those under 18 Show Content

And it looks like all the vendors with 3D printed upgraded intake velocity stacks for sale will be scurrying back to the drawing board as they see the new Fireblade stacks profiles...

Looks like the new giant throttle bodies with their asymmetrical throats will not be an easy retrofit to the SC77 after all.

Honda must feel 2 02 sensors are better than 1... maybe the cylinder fueling offset is enough to warrant managing the fueling more closely to keep the emissions and noise under control.

And if you thought the current gen SC77 was an electronics quagmire o_O.
And buying used you better get all the keys/fobs and especially that master key or its a new ECU for you!

I guess nobody learned from Ducati's "red key" debacle.

Good news and bad news.

Bad news first, it looks like I haven't left yet, sorry about that (probably should have left seeing how the last week played out).

Now the good news. This of course only pertains to lowly last generation SC77 bikes so any potential SC82 owners should not construe this development as an attempt to detract from the pure fucking awesomeness that the SC82 represents, but it has been accomplished!.

We have finally managed to discover the tire size and sprocket calibration locations in the SC77 ECU!

So this means it is now possible to calibrate the ECU properly for larger tires sizes and sprocket changes.

PM or contact via IG for details.
