Badass! The best part is it is a kit car you build yourself. This one looks alot better than thier old GTM.
If I had a soul, with out a doubt.

The interior is what turns me off from these. I would rather have a SL-C from Fran @ RCR. Interior isn't any better but it is an all-out race car look which to me looks better than lousy interior. I don't like when the interior from a $18k civic puts a $100k supercar to shame...

Its a kit car, put any engine you want in it.

Not quite true.

What engine does the car use? The GTM utilizes the power plant from a C5 Corvette – the LS1 or LS6 (Z06 Corvette).

Can I use a different engine? To date, we have not built a GTM using a non LS platform engine. However, we have built a GTM using the potent 505 hp LS7 from the C6 ZO6 Corvette. Call or email us for the details on parts and modifications necessary to bolt this Ferrari killer into your GTM!
Now could you modify the frame and fit another engine in there, sure but I have a feeling it will require removing the existing bracing and welding in new.

+1, and the vette motor rocks...
looks fun to me. Who wants to donate one :)
if everyone here chips in .............
meh...
I've driven one. I was considering building a GTM so I found a guy local to me that built one to have a look. All I can say is with Ferrari and Lambo prices the way they are right now, one would be crazy to spend 1,000 hours building a rattle trap that doesn't come close in fit and finish and still costs almost as much. Is it fast in a straight line? Yes. But to get the performance they advertise you are gonna spend a LOT of money on something that isn't worth much in the end. Ferrari 360's can be had for less that $80k now, and having owned one I can tell you they are a much better buy. Also, with Lamborghini Superleggera prices in the $140's they are an amazing buy too. There's a lot to be said for a 4 wheel drive car that breaks the tires loose in second gear, lol. They are just plain fun to drive.

As far as kit cars go, the Ultima GTR would do it for me.
