What’s the purpose of flashing the ECU & doing PC5?
Flashing will remove the restrictions written into the ECU's code from the factory. For example, the throttle bodies closing at high RPM to pass noise & emission requirements. Once these restrictions are removed, the PC5 (or Bazzazz, Rapid Bike) will tune for optimal air/fuel at all RPMs.

This can be done in the ECU.

Would you be at all willing to look into the service manual to see where the plug is on the 2017 for crossing to reset check engine? Would beyond appreciate it.

070PZ-ZY30100 & 07ZAJ-RDJA110 I believe are the parts

But do we have to use a jump plug? There is a CEL display menu in the Mechanics view, can't the CELs be reset from in the menu?
