Question for anyone knowledgeable on Brembo brakes. Will the Stylema 108 caliper fit on the 2017 SP? Mounting height and rotor distance spacing?
Looks like you can save a little over 5 ounces, 144 grams, with a pair of the calipers.
The stock Brembo has 32/30mm pistons, the Stylema has 30/30 piston, should be ok with the master caliper but will it lose any braking power. The Stylema Calipers come stock on the 2022/2023 Suzuki Hayabusa which is much heavier so probably good braking power to stop that monster but just don't know for sure. ;)
Edit. Checked parts diagram for SP and they are 32/30 pistons. I thought they ran true M4 calipers which they dont. I recently fitted M4 (34/34) pistons no spacers required at all. They were 1030g with pads vs Tokico 907g with pads.

Yep M4 calipers fit but the Stylema is new and I am not sure if the height and rotor slot will fit the rotors on our bikes. Are all those specifics the same on all Brembo calipers?

M4 are superior to Stylema in terms of performance. A friend recently bought P4 calipers (875g) each and they run a 36/32 piston combo. Very expensive. However more to your question he needed 2mm thicker spacers than the M4 i bought off him.

Since this is not a pure track bike I will not be removing the ABS, even though the weight loss would be nice. Since my brakes have very good feel to them I would not change anything, including the front calipers unless I could loose some weight and that was the idea of the stylema calipers. I have an inquiry in on how much the Stylema 108 calipers weigh.
Anyone have an idea of what the stock SP Brembos weigh?

What empirical data leads you to that conclusion? I have the Stylema on my 2018 Ducati V4S and 2021 CBR1000RR-R. I had the M4 calipers on my 2016 BMW S1000RR and they were great.

Got to ride the bike to work today, sunny. Not sure, but with the new Carbon Fiber headlight surround, which is also the entry to the air tubes, the bike sounds a little more growlier at lower rpm, until it starts screaming at the upper rpms. Probably just my imagination. :)

Today my Bonamici Upper Triple clamp arrived. Unpackaged it and put it on the scale and found it weighs 486 grams, 17.35 oz., with the two titanium pinch bolts. Took the old steering head apart, I found that the plastic protector piece comes off without moving the tank cover, also pulling the nut for the steering dampener didn't require any other part to be removed. The first problem I ran into was the large nut at the center of the steering head, too big for an adjustable wrench and larger than my sockets, needed either a 41mm or 1 5/8" socket, so a trip to the auto part store netted a 1 5/8" 3/4" drive socket. Fortunately I have a 3/4 to 1/2" adapter. With the nut removed and the pinch bolts loose I was able to pull the upper triple clamp. Turning it over to remove the ignition lock I ran into the second problem. The fastener had no way to remove, round not allen inside, so I thought I would drill the head off and found it to be hardened steel so I got out the die grinder with an abrasive wheel and cut a slot into the fastener so a regular screwdriver could turn the fastener out. Finished putting the bike back together then weighted the old triple clamp with the titanium pinch bolts and it weighs 545 grams, or 19.46 oz. So only 2 oz of weight saving. So now you know. :) But it is stronger and looks cool so not bad. Those Titanium axles are looking better all the time.

I have looked at some carbon fiber clip ons but didn't find a weight on them, also need the same rise or an inch higher or back. One nice thing is the CF would tend to dampen some of the vibration at the bars.

From what I have been able to find out, the stock Brembo M4 calipers on the SP are 800 grams each, without pads, and the Brembo 108 Stylema are also 800 grams each, so no weight advantage.

Found some rear wheel/chain adjusters with nuts in titanium, from Pro-bolt, should be arriving today. Have to pull the rear axle to put them in, may look at drilling, swiss cheese, the aduster block. :)

I purchased a used swingarm pivot bolt from ebay, to go with the used front and rear axles I already have, in case I get some time on my brothers lathe and I turn some titanium duplicates.

The swing arm pivot bolt came yesterday and I put it on the scale and found it weight 683 grams with nut. So 24 ounces, I can probably save 3/4 of a pound doing it in titanium. Plus, with titanium front and rear axles and steering head stem I can remove 2 pounds from the bike. Probably won't have time to play with it for at least 6 months. :)
Any other large bolts on the bike that can remove significant weight?
