Transmission fail '07

Update: removed all clutch plates, clutch center and basket. Without those, it will roll freely in gear. Put the clutch basket back in, rolls freely. Put the clutch center back in, rolls freely. Now, when I tightened the clutch center nut, it acted as if the clutch was engaged. There were no clutch discs or plates installed. Can anyone explain what could cause this? Thanks in advance.
I'm having same issue

If you assembled it wrong or mixed 04-05 clutch parts with 06-07 clutch parts. An '04-'05 needle bearing and guide in a 06-07 basket will do this.

These parts changed part numbers in 2006
NEEDLE BEARING '04-'05 23.8mm vs '06-'07 27.8mm(+4mm/+0.157")
SPACER
OUTPUT HUB
PRESSURE PLATE
P.P. ROD

Be sure to look closely at basket fingers. If they are sharp and grooved you need a new basket. The plates can stick engaged and is hard to release. The clutch plates will wear grooves into basket fingers. Happened to mine 2009.
My bad. Just seen no clutches installed. Needle bearing and guide stack too short. Turbo Dave nailed it.
Ok sorry, ive had an eventful few weeks, im not new, jus had to make new acc, lost my iphone, anyways so here's the deal, my baby's an 07. I've never worked on any clutch or trans on any vehicle, but I'm very mechanically inclined, n have any unbelievable thirst for why! Like why everything,
So I bought her kinda cheap cause 4th was stripped, then about yr later 5th ran off too. And a couple months ago, all of them went except for one, which one? Either 2 or 3. So I thought it was my clutch, I was being told. I said fuxk it ima change out trans while I'm at it. Bought a trans off ebay.
I started 2 weeks ago, I've taken her apart, I don't even remember how many times.
The trans in neutral, I put it in, but as soon as I tighten Any screw, the trans locks up. I know I'm probably jus doing some lil shit wrong but I don't know what. Thanx for the help and the ear.

Sorry jus seen I started the discussion for clutch, I don't know how to change it to transmission
Take the trans out. Look inside the engine case. On the primary shaft bearing(smaller one) there is usually a washer stuck to it with oil. Take that out and put it on the on the end of the primary shaft. Your new trans may have had one and your original is still in the motor. Make sure you dont have two installed. You may need to double check the way the trans is assembled.

FWIW the 04-05 trans is a little different. 06-07 has better gear dog geometry, stronger bearing plate, and shorter shift drum. Ive fond they are interchangeable even though honda says the bearing plates are not interchangeable between motor cases.

Ok if ur talking bout the washer that goes at the end of the inside shaft, to hold the gears in, cause there's a groove it locks into on the shaft, it's only one I see. ( I actually made that one last night, spot welded the inside then dremeled it out) works jus fine. Anyways here's a couple of pics.
Looks like maybe you have a shift fork backwards?
