Disclaimer - launch was done in a safe and controlled environment.

Anyway, Here's one session of me practicing my launch control.

I feel like I modulated the clutch and throttle pretty well so that the front wheel doesn't come up. I didn't go WOT at all in first gear.

Any other tips to improve my launches? I think I might increase the limiter to peg at 7.5k instead of what I currently have, which is 6.6k .

As mentioned more clutch slip...

Perfect launch control should pretty much fry the clutch after about 4 launches.
You should be left with just enough friction material to last for a 2 days worth of circuit races..
SBK clutches are replaced each weekend.

So with that in mind, on a limited civilian street riding budget, slip the clutch as much as you feel the balance between standing start launch thrill and dollars spent is justified.

Rea has a great launch here. Those clutches can handle about 2-3 starts, if they ever have to do a third start (2 red flags) somebody on the grid will surely fry their clutch.
