Looks great, I'm sure it sounds great too! But yeah its is just your idea...or a placebo effect...always happens when putting on a slip on. The bike runs better with the exhaust flapper, from down low, up through the midrange. Less hesitation and surging, much better steady cruising throttle, and better acceleration. Just my .02Installed a Scorpion GP slip on and removed the servo cables. Servo buddy is here, so I will be removing the servo motor completely.
Is it my idea, or is the bike SO MUCH BETTER in low RPMs without the flapper? To me, it does have more go on low RPMs, and I’m thinking the servo was hindering low RPM drivability and was there for sound reduction only.
.
The only way I guess is to see an actual dyno and the low RPM graphs. But I can say for sure there is nothing as far as less smoothness or hesitation down low with the slip on. It could be no difference at all, but definitely not worst.Looks great, I'm sure it sounds great too! But yeah its is just your idea...or a placebo effect...always happens when putting on a slip on. Open to correction though!
I wish someone would do the dyno test, and put this debate to bed!The only way I guess is to see an actual dyno and the low RPM graphs. Yes, I think they're great, too. I got over 17,300 miles out of a set and just replaced them with PR4's this past summer. They probably could have made it to 20k miles but the rubber was 5 years old and I figured it was time for new tires.Changed out the tires to road threes and love them.
Bike looks sweeet. Are they canceling the TD? If not, ever run full wetts? Quite an experience going fast in the rain. 0Since track day ain’t gonna most probably happening tomorrow with all this rain, might as well do some cosmetic stuff.
The black Blades do look good, even better with the red accentsSince track day ain’t gonna most probably happening tomorrow with all this rain, might as well do some cosmetic stuff.

Won’t be cancelled unless there is a load of standing water on the track.Bike looks sweeet. Are they canceling the TD? If not, ever run full wetts? Quite an experience going fast in the rain. 0![]()
The matte black is VERY easy to keep clean. My Tiger is also matte black, and the non glossy surface gets no oily residue and fingerprints, and wipes off easily with a spray on detailer. The black Blades do look good, even better with the red accents
Is the black finish easy to keep clean?
I've had a '15 ZX-14R matte since new, and it's been super-easy to keep clean. I've only used the Honda spray wax on it, which works perfectly. I much prefer the matte on your moto though, color-wise. >The matte black is VERY easy to keep clean.
