Have you noticed any difference in brake performance? On the 1st generation ABS the master cylinder had no fluid connection with the calipers while the bike was rolling because it's all brake by wire.

Does the SC77 ABS offer any difference in feel with caliper and master cylinder upgrades?

I have noticed significant improvements in each stage of the brake upgrades. First came the Galfer steel braided brake lines. Big difference.
Next, Galfer wave rotors and pads, front and back. Another noticeable improvement. Then the Beringer calipers have made a massive improvement.
And finally with the Brembo master cylinder, powerful enough to run these calipers, it’s like night and day from the OEM set up. And the OEM ABS set up was already very very good.

I don’t have any reference between ABS and non-ABS for any CBR. I have only ever ridden this CBR.
This will probably not go down very well in this forum here, but I have been a lifelong Yamaha guy…

brace yourself, here comes the red army

I don’t think anyone really cares about what you’ve ridden previously. Many of my friends ride newer R1’s, for sure it’s a great moto, I just like my SC77 hella more. :D

I got my new TFT / speedometer installed. Under warranty.
Got my 600 mile service, aka first service.
Even though my actual mileage is closer to 300-400 something…
Installed the new JetPrime switches.
The left one works. The right doesn’t.
It’s acting up. 🤦🏻😂
Will work it out.
Here’s what they look like.
Left hand mounted. Right hand test fit.
cheers

Those look great. Is the lap timer button blanked out? I was looking into these after you posted them and was wondering how they want about the lap timer.

Oh, I see what you mean! The lap time function is present. The location of the LAP paint in that empty button spot is misleading. LAP is present and working. Their website says that the hazard function is lost. But it is not. You simply press and release both blinkers at the same time for hazards.

I desperately need an aftermarket E throttle, electronic fly by wire, a.k.a. ride by wire throttle for my bike. Can anyone help me please?
Even a throttle housing will work. That way I can eliminate my OEM run start stop switch cluster which is in the same clamshell from the factory as my electronic throttle. And be able to run my JetPrime run start stop switch on my right side handle bar. I have been calling all over the world and cannot find one. There is one listed at reactive parts out of the UK. It says it is for RR, but it is in fact for RR-R.
Somebody please help me!

I see, so the lap timer is one of those buttons on the back? Is it easy to feel and hit without much thought?

I’ve been looking for the same, specifically one that is 1/2 or 1/4 turn.

The RR-R and RR definitely use different throttle and switch unit parts, I wonder if they are interchangeable? Might want to post this in a more focused part of the forum since not everyone checks this thread.
