What to expect from a Full Pipe on 08 Blade?

Hey Guys, my 08 blade is basically stock and i would love it to produce more midrange and sound more aggressive.

The 08 blade has been out over a year so we should know what works well by now.

My question is: What kind of power gains can be expected from a good full exhaust sytem (Akro maybe), fueling map (Bazzaz?), dyno tune, etc?

I gained 11 and change hp at peak and few from idle to redline, did not lose anywhere. If you count the Z-bomb prob gained 16-17 hp at peak, since we're restricted over here.

you gained 11 using what system??

Arrow full, and the custom tune, tune being key, Bazzaz z-fi, search my thread, dynos posted. Think the tune was worth 4-5 hp alone. Also BMC, intake flapper normal mods. I was at 157 with z-bomb, then 168.2 and 83 ft/lbs after mods/tune, just do a search.
i possibly have a full exhaust with custom mufflers available for $1000 too if there is some interest

nevermind...
Ok?
11bhp sounds good

ive heard that you can gain about 7bhp in the middle, does make a big difference to the ride?
I know u want a full system but my bike with arrow slipon produced 165hp and heaps more mid range and more power right through the whole range (standard 155hp). I'm using the bazzaz system flapper removed bmc race filter. I recommend getting the self tuning unit makes dyno tuning a breeze for a base map then go out and update the map on the road. Road tuning produces a better power response (ram air, temp, etc), dyno just fills in the throttle positions not easily accessible on the road. Sounds good not too loud goes bloody well. I believe the pipe adds some hp but most comes fromm the Bazzaz system. Best money spent on any bike.

biggest thing i would say is the power is super linear, filled in all the part throttle lag, I would say the top end is noticeable but just pulls better, smoother everywhere, and throttle is less abrupt. my mileage has not suffered, last weekend road trip 420 miles average moving speed 90-95 and used 10.5 gallons. So right at 40 mpg. Plus took about 10 lbs off bike with full system but most of the weight savings are in the can. And the Arrow is not loud at all, I ride with earplugs and cant hear the pipe over the wind at speed.
Sounds like a perfect mod to me guys, thanks for the advice.
i possibly have a stainless full coming for like $1000 if i can get 4-6 people in for it
I put a Akrapovic full race, BMC race filter, z-bomb and Bazzaz FI and I am putting down 176.87hp and 87.76 ft/lbs at the rear tire.

 Akro's are my favorite, probably coz i was always into GSXR's and thats mainly what they run, but they seem a serious pipe manufacturer.

In the future im gonna get exactly the same system as Grim Reaper here.
I might wait till next spring so it feels like ive got a new engine.
i always was on the yoshi side.. but from doin a lil research i think akro is for me now.. i need to ask some questions about how they sound tho..

would the headers fit a taylormade? if so...count me in.

ive heard our bike with a race Arrow can + without its baffle and that was loud but not obtrusive like some bikes.
Lots of people have gone for the Akro in the bike mags so i recon it would be worth the risk.
