has anyone put newer wheels from a 2012-2016 or 2017-2019 on a 2007 CBR1000RR

I'm assuming I can get them to fit with custom making some spacers or different size axles.

Anyone know the size of axles per year?
06/07

any info or knowledge is appreciated.

if you use the search function you´ll get answer.
Few wheels are straight swap
2009/2016 wheels , same on the rear , in front need sc59 discs and 5 mm spacers
for 2017-19 wheels the swap will be amore complicated but you can do it

Rears 04-16 all straight swap
Fronts 08-16 straight swap.
Front 17+ wheel will fit 08-16 you need discs from the 17 model. 5 brake disc bolts compared to 6

Rear will fit yours from newer up to 16
Fronts not worth the hassle to your model

- Thank´s, but why do one want to do any of those swaps? Lighter wheels? The looks?

Mainly looks. Hondas stock ugly 3 spoke wheels are actually pretty light compared to most other stock wheels.

The reason you can't fit newer wheels on to the front of the 04-07 chassis is because the disc brake offset. Where the disc mounts on the wheel, the newer wheels are skinny in that area, by about 8mm.
