I have to take off my wheels and have a few quick ?'s.

1. anything i should know as far as tips before i start?
2. what are the torque specs for the axle nuts? 95 for the rear? what for the front?
3. what are the torque numbers for the rotor bolts?

thanks for the caliper tip

thanks for the link LDH  i see that is different then the page for the rc, but where is the page you posted on Rogue?

i don't know if it is listed or not, but the 2001 RC oil filter is the same as the 2004 CBR  i bought like 6 from ron Ayers, works out nicely :p

what i meant by tips were bouncing the forks or something like that? I am using a front wheel stand(handy). Just insert the axle, line up the one side, tighten the bolt to 83ftlbs?

for some reason i remember to line up the left side, tighten the two pinch bolts then tighten the axle bolt, then the right two pinch bolts or something?

way too much fun when i was young   :D

I just did this last night. I change my own tires.

Front wheel is easy. You have to remove both front calipers - 4 bolts total.

Loosen the pinch bolts (4). Remove axle. While holding wheel remove axle. I used a 1/2" socket extension and a rubber mallet to push the axle out enough to grab it with my hands.

Install is reverse of removal. Spacer with lip goes on the right side of the wheel (as if you were riding) and the straight one goes on the left.

I tighten pinch bolts only after tightening the axle bolt. If the axle spins on you when you tighten the bolt then you'll have to tighten the two on the left side first, then torque the axle bolt.
