Does anyone know of, or have tried, a wheelie bar for the CBR1000RR? Looking to get one to practice getting at Balance Point. Interested to see if anyone has bought one and which brand would hold up?

Not to encourage wheelies, but if you want to learn buy an old kids dirt bike like an XR100R and practice on it. If you are finding the balance point you need to be able to use the rear brake to bring the wheelie back down. If you lose control on the old dirt bike you ruin the rear fender and get some 10 mph road rash. If you are riding your CBR 1000 you throw away your $15k sport bike and end up with some 70mph road rash. Little bikes will teach you many lessons just my 2 cents

A true balance point wheelie on a CBR1000RR will risk ruining the motor because the sump is located in front of the clutch/transmission portion of the crankcase. Have seen a couple posts of people needing engine rebuilds for this very reason. Some will advise adding an extra quart of oil, but dirt bike is easier/cheaper.
