so i bought some eurodezign H7 12V/55W bulbs and threw them in. i like the color much better than the stock yellowish shiet. they don't make anything brighter tho. also replaced the center map light with a PIAA hyper white 194 market bulb. wish i had thought of takin pics last nite. maybe tonite if it doesn't rain.

same brightness for the 55w xenon as compared to stock. i believe u can put higher wattage bulbs in for more light. just make sure it's 12v. i have a buddy who put 75w xenons in his r1 and hasn't had a problem with fryin his electrical wiring.
Here's a couple pics of mine with a similar setup. I've got 2 55w hyper-white bulb's that I picked up from a dealership (Counter-top impulse item), while I was still researching what bulbs have the best output. They are waaaayyyyyyy whiter than the stock bulbs, but I don't think they improved visibilty any, just appearance. I also put a blue bulb in the third light spot, I figured I'd get a rash of $hit from my racing buddies, but everyone actually said it looked pretty bad a$$!

I'm running Street Glow 70 Watt H7s - they are not as blue as the Eurodesignz, but they definitely light up the road better (had the Eurodesignz on my 600rr).

No problems at all. I had some misgivings at first, especially since I run hi-beam during the day, but I had these in the Red and now the Silver 1KRR with no issues.

When i had my 900RR i used to have a ton of hyperwhite style bulbs for all my cars & i had to make a pair fit for my 900RR -basically involved just cutting off 1 of the hook in peices of the bulb plate (metal peice).

The dealer had them in stock, it looks like they may be Seltek? It also says K-Max and www.kmax21.com, but that website isn't active. They look really cool, but I think I'll end up getting something else that has a fair amount more output than stock eventually.ThreeSixT said:
