For those you who looked at the service manual cross-eyed when trying to figure out how to remove and install the mid-fairings on our 2012-14 honda cbr1000rr like I did then you will be happy to see my video I created that should greatly simplify the process for you. It literally only takes 3 minutes or less to remove each side fairing. The only hard part is accessing the air duct cover's screw closer to the tank, I just used a screw bit and my finger because I did not have an angled screwdriver to get to such a tight place.
