General question regarding the size of CBR1000's
I am talking about the actual size of the bike.

See I am 6''3 210lbs I currently have 04 cbr1000rr

I was about to buy a 2005 R1 but the 04 cbr fit me a little better

but my question is are the 04 05 06 07 CBR1000s are exact same size width and length and how tall the bike is.
I know the forks are longer in 06-07 so does that make the bike taller ?

I sat on 08's and oh my I felt I was sitting on a 600cc and the size of the bike was just small I mean wheres the rearseat ? I felt like I was way too tall and way too big for it. so I went and bought the 04

so which CBR is the biggest in overall size ?
you can name the older 919 and 959's if they are bigger I wanna know which was the biggest CBR of them all and where is my 04 stand

Thanks
PS: If I was 5''10 id be all over the 08's + but they are simply too small looking compare to the 04-05s and just not taller over6feet person friendly

I can't really answer your question, cause honestly I don't know which bike is the biggest in physical size. However you can do some things to your bike to adjust according to your size. For example, simply add about 1 1/2" with those sheep skin seat padding that you can just strap on to your existing seat. Buy adjustable rear set, that can buy you another inch (must be careful with the lean angle clearance). I'm 5'-6" 175 lbs. I on the other hand had to shave off the seat cussion a bit and my rear sets are high, so that works perfect for me. On my same setting a 6' friend of mine had hard time riding, but on his 600RR he fits fine cause he set it that way. My 2 cents.

I'm 6'3'' 195 and my 05 is a great fit for me. I have ridden multiple 700+ mile days. That being said, I also love the way the 08+ sits. The bike it self feels smaller but not so much in a peg to seat to bar way, but more of a, I could slam this thing anywhere I want to kind of way. Really if you are just on the street it is all personal preffrence. Anything from a mid 90's 600 and up will be more than enough bike for the vast majority of street riders.

6'1" here only issue I have on mine is the thigh cramps from time to time and a knee pain here and there. By the way all of you tall guys got Bubonic or something. You fellas need an extra biscut with some gravy or something LOL.... J/K

I hadn't noticed the conrad troll before, I guess my garbage filter was working.

BTW, those cramps...would go away if you added fitness to your life goals. It's not dehydration, it's lack off being able to take care of yourself.

I am 5ft 10 and 135lbs, the 2012 fits perfect. =) i looked at the 04-07s and i felt they were too bulky for my size.

I'm 6'1" 180 lbs. and I have an 08 Cbr 1k and it's the best bike I've ever owned and rode I've rode a 2012 R1 it's bulky I'm not too fond of it and I owned an 05 GSXR but they sit pretty low for stock an I have an 06 kawi 636 and my cbr handles better and feels lighter, rides smoother but I'd suggest 08+ cbr 1k
