Now that would be a good invention,something that can
fill you radiator resi or radiator while keeping
the fairings off..I really don't see how it would work though ..
Can't tap a line in,presurrized cap at radiator,maybe zero fitting
or something on resi

 

Undo top two mounting screws
Pull back fairing manually
reach hand in and undo cap and remove
insert long, skinny funnel(you can get at any auto store)
pour slowly and monitor level with flashlight.
Simple!

 

just undoing the top 2 bolts on the right fairing is sufficient? I could lift the outer fairing and then kinda bend the inner fairing enough to get to the coolant res top? Can you confirm

Yes the fairings are flexible enough to bend out enough to do it. Thats how I do it on my ride.

 

Why don't you just take the 3 minutes out of your day and go try it?

 

That makes me wonder if some people are born a$$holes or just grew in to one. All the guy did was ask a question. Some people just have to be a dick.

As for the 3minutes, Im at work now, and now with the time change I wont get to it till Saturday. Guess I figured I might save myself the 'sleepless nights of wondering' and just ask the forum. (obvious sarcasm)

 

Have you ever heard of busting peoples chops? So try it Saturday then.

 

Busting chops is definitely allowed and if you cant handle it then you have some issues of your own you need to deal with. Got to have a sense of humor if you want to make it in life or you will get eaten alive.

 

its all good guys, no worries. thanks for the info. Ill give this a try. Wanted to remove as little as possible as connecting those inner fairings is such a PITA for me.
