I am trying to find a soft copy of the factory service manual for a 2017 CBR 1000RR. I checked Helmic but they only have hard copies available. Does a soft copy even exist for this machine?

Well, what I have here is exactly the same as what my local Powersports dealer has on the bench. A solid bound, punched, color cover printed service manual.
What signs are you seeing that it is copied? Was yours a loose leaf bundle? Or did you unbind your manual to copy?

It was not bound with the large holes. It was bound with many small holes and a plastic strip of small straight plastic fingers. The pages were clearly copied. Where the large holes should have been punched, there are ocassional printed areas of the original hole. Again, I dont really care, just pointing out this is a copied book purchased from the same seller you bought from.
Well I don't care either.
I bought this legitimate Honda printed book that is bound so I am not really sure what you are getting at here.

i have the same manual. When I contacts Helms before ordering it, they said it only existed as a hard copy so I bought one. if you scan it let me know as I would like an electronic copy.

I am not asking for a pirated copy. I want to buy a PDF version. As far as I know, one is not available for purchase. If I am wrong, please point me to the link where I can purchase a PDF.

I already bought the paper copy from Helm but need the steering stem nut torque value. Want to do some work on the bike over the weekend and have everything else but this value. Help appreciated.

Yeah bought from that web site, it’s a copy, how they word it makes it sound like a OEM service manual, not a copy, kind of pist off not original, but a nice copy.

Helm Inc-Your Source for Factory Authorized Service Information only offers a paper version for this manual though they do offer CD ROM and USB for others.

Just rec'd my 2017 CBR 1000 RR Service Manual today. Came wrapped super good and is bonded and brand new. All of the pages are clear and consise. I purchased it from http://www.service-shop-repair-manual.com Pd $40 for it.
